Some thoughts on painting
After painting the landscapes of the coastal areas of Long Island "Plein Aire " for 15 years I now find myself moving toward a more designed approach in which the first studies(rendered in watercolors,drawings, and photographs) are then more thoughtfully rendered in flattened color forms.
so nice to see your work, very beautiful...I like the marsh and the grape vines as favorites for me,very much like the Cape there as you said.
