Some thoughts on painting
After painting the landscapes of the coastal areas of Long Island "Plein Aire " for 15 years I now find myself moving toward a more designed approach in which the first studies(rendered in watercolors,drawings, and photographs) are then more thoughtfully rendered in flattened color forms.
